My Xtra Math Result.

This week I have been practising these 3 basic facts:                    

9+7=16   6+1=7   9+6=15

          Here is my Xtramath result:

         

          You can see that I have got all of my questions right but i didn’t go fast on 6+1=7.

I also wrote a number story for my basic facts.  Here is one:

The girl had 6 lollies and the girl had 1 lollie, They put it together and made seven lollies.

This week I practised these three facts:     9+8=17   5+1=6   5+6=11.

You will see that I got all of my equations right and before 3 seconds.

This is my E-book on past education, I learnt that In the olden days boys and girls use to wear gumboots and boys got taught woodwork and the girls got taught swimming skills and In the olden days if children didn't go to school with clean fingernails they would of got the strap.

The Visit By Des Hunt

The author Des Hunt came to visit us today. He used chemistry and physics  to teach us about writing. He made it interesting and fun. I learnt That Des Hunt said that Writing is like a game, you don't know
whats going to happen next.

This is my Xtra math progress, I didn't improve because I only got a eleven in a row right and I know I got lots right cause I got lots of smile faces.

We did handwriting with toothpicks and ink because we wanted to do what olden people did in the olden days.

I found it hard because my hand got really tired because I had to keep dipping my toothpick in the ink and writing again.
